We’ll also have a presentation with Second Harvest on Food Safety Basics.

Food safety is essential to protecting ourselves and our communities. This training session with Second Harvest will explore practical, safe food handling practices to use in your kitchen at home.

You’ll learn how to:

• Store food safely
• Prevent cross-contamination
• Thaw food safely
• Measure food temperatures
• Cool and reheat foods safely
