Social Activities and Groups

Make new friends and connect with other seniors,  in-person or online.

Socialize with Other Seniors

Connect with other seniors! We offer lots of different activities and programs for seniors to socialize, and learn together through online and in-person programming. While most of our offerings are in English, some are also available in Russian. These activities are great for those who are unable to get out on their own, have little family contact and no friends who visit regularly.

Edward and Mark, friends from Let's Get Together social group

Hear from our client, Mark:

“Edward and I both attend a social group for seniors run by Circle of Care because it’s a wonderful way to socialize, meet new people, and enjoy fun activities together. I like to stay active—having been an avid mountaineer—and I’m always looking for ways to fill my time with meaningful activities. Thanks to the Circle of Care, Edward and I, along with many others, connect regularly and share great moments. As it turns out, Edward and I are also neighbours who’ve known each other for a while, and we just happened to reconnect through this social group!”

Group Phone Program

Would you like to form new connections and make friends from the comfort of your home? All you need is your phone! Circle of Care offers a FREE opportunity to participate in phone-based socializing sessions with other seniors and a facilitator. This is a great way to get to know new people, engage in interesting discussions and continue to socialize even as the weather gets colder. Participate as little or as much as you’d like.

For more information, and to register for the program, please contact Devorah at (437) 339-6433 or dbenchimol@circleofcare.com.
