Circle of Care In the News: Social isolation a reality for many Canadian seniors

Circle of Care client Larry Singer was recently interviewed about the positive experience our volunteer-led programs Let’s Get Together and Phone Pals have made in his life:

[Singer] has benefited from services such as Let’s Get Together, a monthly luncheon get together for seniors, and thrice weekly phone chats from a volunteer, who calls Singer to check on how he’s doing.

“We talk about a lot of things — sports, food, cars,” he said. “He’s part of my support network. It can get lonely, and I look forward to his calls.”
