Circle of Care has received Exemplary Standing status from Accreditation Canada! This is another testament to being one of Ontario’s best performing home and community support service agencies.
From October 11 to 14, 2022, Accreditation Canada, a national body that aims to advance quality and safety through independent assessments, visited Circle of Care. They observed frontline staff in action, spoke with our clients, reviewed our policies and processes and spent time with our Board of Directors. Their final report concluded that Circle of Care met every required organizational practice (ROP) and was 100 per cent compliant with applicable standards of client safety, quality, and excellence.
“Once again, Circle of Care has proven that when it comes to quality of home and community care, we are a leader,” said Carey Lucki, Chief Executive Officer at Circle of Care. “I am very proud of Circle of Care’s staff and volunteers, and our continued effort to excel and raise the bar, even as we faced unprecedented challenges in the last few years. We have succeeded in doing this by steering our attention towards one thing: keeping our clients’ and their families’ wellbeing at the forefront of our minds, and continuously striving to do better because our vision is to make their lives better.”
Circle of Care has previously received Exemplary Standing from Accreditation Canada over several cycles, and has now achieved 100 per cent for two Accreditation surveys in a row.
