Circle of Care is proud to celebrate our annual Champions of Care Award winners.

Since its launch in February 2018, this recognition program has celebrated the extraordinary dedication of our employees, whether through small everyday moments or exceptional acts of service. Our award winners go above and beyond for clients, families, and colleagues.

After opening nominations earlier this year, we were moved by the many heartfelt submissions from staff and clients alike. Each nominee demonstrated deep commitment to Circle of Care’s core values, making the selection process truly challenging.

We are proud to introduce the individuals chosen as our 2024–2025 Champions of Care Award winners—recognized for their outstanding contributions and lasting impact.

CEO Carey Lucki presents Allison with her Champions of Care award.Allison received the Champions of Care Award for her exceptional commitment to providing compassionate, person-centred support. She was nominated by the family of her client Kathleen, for going above and beyond to ensure that Kathleen receives the care she needs and feels emotionally supported.

Beyond essential tasks, Allison has built a strong, trusting relationship with Kathleen’s family. Her calming presence and reliability provide the family with complete peace of mind, so that they are confident leaving her in charge if they need to step out during a home visit.

One recent example stands out. When Kathleen was preparing to celebrate her 95th birthday, Allison quickly stepped in to ensure everything was perfect.

“Time was running short, but Allison took charge and got my mother prepared for the occasion,” said Kathleen’s son, Dennis. “The hairstyle was something to be seen. The choice for outfit was second to none, and nails polished to match. We would not have been able to do this in time without Allison’s help.”
