Link Generations Program

This program connects seniors and high school students for meaningful interactions that foster mutual growth and understanding. Seniors benefit from a sense of purpose, connection, cognitive stimulation, and social engagement as they share their life stories. Meanwhile, students enhance their self-esteem, become more comfortable around seniors, gain valuable historical insights, and fulfill social service or academic requirements.

We are looking for high school students to participate, especially those seeking to complete their volunteer hours. This is a great opportunity to engage in a rewarding experience while giving back to the community.

The program will be conducted remotely via Zoom on March 19, March 26, April 2, April 9, and April 16 from 4:30–6:00 pm. Each session will focus on a new topic of conversation, guided by trained staff who facilitate engaging and supportive discussions.

After the first session, the group will be closed, and participants are expected to attend all sessions to ensure a cohesive and rewarding experience for everyone involved.
