Meet Andrea, an incredible volunteer based in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, who virtually supports our hospice and bereavement department, providing comfort to clients in Toronto during difficult times. Thanks to her outstanding commitment she is the proud recipient of the HPCO June Callwood Circle of Outstanding Volunteers Award.
The June Callwood Award was established in 1994 by the Hospice Association of Ontario, which merged with the Ontario Palliative Care Association in 2011 to form Hospice Palliative Care Ontario. This award acknowledges and thanks outstanding hospice volunteers throughout Ontario.
