DESCRIPTION:Join us for another session of Creative Healing\nA Hospice & Bereavement Services Program\nThe purpose of this program is to offer a creative space for those in need of peace & healing. In this program we will use art to heal grief.\nWhen: September 16, 1:30 – 3:00pm\nWhere: Virtually through ZOOM\nActivity: Creating a Remembrance Jar\nMaterials to bring:\n\n\nA jar or cup of choice\n\n\nScissors\n\n\nOne sheet of paper\n\n\nPencil crayons and markers\n\n\nArt/decoration supplies of choice\n\n\nThis activity provides individuals with the opportunity to create a safe place to store memories and feelings about lost loved ones. Together, we will record words, memories, and/or phrases related to our loved one and our grief on a piece of paper and decorate the page around the words. The words will then be cut out into individual pieces of paper, folded, and placed in our jars.
